PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. (October 5, 2017)—Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare introduced its 10 Liter Oxygen Concentrator today.

Boasting the same compact shell as the Drive DeVilbiss’s 5 Liter concentrator and weighing only 42 pounds, the 10 Liter Concentrator is one of the smallest and lightest concentrators of its kind currently on the market. This concentrator is designed to provide optimal oxygen delivery for patients with varying flow requirements and is capable of delivering 87‐96 percent oxygen purity from 2‐10 LPM.

Producing 20 PSI, it can be used with high‐pressure masks and large‐volume nebulizers.

“The Drive DeVilbiss 10 Liter Oxygen Concentrator is intended to give clinicians, providers and patients peace of mind and offers three key areas of differentiation,” said Mitch Yoel, executive vice president, Business Development for Drive DeVilbiss. “First, the 10 Liter Concentrator is designed and manufactured by the most experienced oxygen concentrator engineering team on the planet with approximately 80 percent of its parts shared with the market‐leading 525DS 5 Liter concentrator from Drive DeVilbiss, improving product familiarity and inventory efficiencies.”

“In addition, it is the smallest, lightest weight 10 Liter concentrator available on the market today,” said Yoel, “and the 20 PSI outlet offers clinicians the flexibility to use the accessories they need to care for patients with involved respiratory impairments.”

Each 10 Liter Concentrator is assembled in the USA and equipped with an exclusive DeVilbiss Oxygen Sensing Device (OSD) that monitors the amount of oxygen produced to ensure patient safety and reliability for longer service intervals. In addition, this concentrator provides an auxiliary port that connects to most transfill systems to conveniently refill cylinders at home.

Other features include accessible patient controls, bright LEDs that can be seen from a distance, a protected cannula fitting and a recessed humidifier nook. Sold separately, the Transfill Caddy system, compatible with both the 5 and 10 Liter concentrators, features a steel frame that easily connects to the 18” x 14” tray. This system can support up to 40 pounds.
