SAN DIEGO—DexCom, Inc., a medical device company that manufactures continuous glucose monitoring systems (CGMs) for diabetes management, announced the official launch of the DexCom G7 15 Day Continuous Glucose Monitoring System for people over the age of 18 with diabetes in the United States on Monday, Dec. 1.
At initial launch, Dexcom G7 15 Day will be available for users who receive their Dexcom CGM through durable medical equipment providers. G7 15 Day will also be covered for Medicare beneficiaries and has met the category requirements for therapeutic CGM systems set forth by the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

With an overall mean absolute relative difference (MARD) of 8%, Dexcom G7 15 Day builds on the performance of Dexcom CGM, which is clinically proven to lower A1C, reduce hyper- and hypoglycemia and increase time in range.
