CONCORD, New Hampshire—Granite VNA announced it has honored Deb Belanger with the agency’s annual peer-nominated Living Our Values Award. Belanger, of Boscawen, New Hampshire, has served as receptionist with Granite VNA since 2022.
Each year, Granite VNA invites employees to nominate a colleague whom they believe best demonstrates the organization’s core values of respect, compassion, culture of excellence, leadership and stewardship in his or her actions among peers and with patients, families, community members, donors and volunteers.
“This is such well-deserved recognition for Deb, who not only greets visitors and team members warmly as the ‘face of Granite VNA’ in our Concord office, but also pitches in to help colleagues with various tasks,” said Granite VNA President and CEO Beth Slepian. “We appreciate everything Deb does, including the positive energy she brings to our team each day; I am honored to recognize her with this special award.”
Prior to joining Granite VNA, Belanger served as production/office clerk for Dydee Diaper and as payroll bookkeeper at Villa Crest Nursing and Retirement Center, both in Manchester.
Of the 16 peer nominations for this year’s Living Our Values Award, Belanger received four.
Belanger’s nominators all noted how she makes visitors to the agency’s Concord office feel welcome, and how she takes pride in making sure the lobby space makes a positive impression. They also noted her efficiency and professionalism, and how she always goes the extra mile to help others.
