ATLANTA (October 25, 2019) – Brightree announced key expansions to its industry-leading ReSupply and Advanced Analytics solutions for home medical equipment (HME) providers, manufacturers and service providers. Brightree ReSupply has expanded to support urology and ostomy disease segments, in addition to sleep therapy, incontinence, diabetic and enteral segments, while Brightree Advanced Analytics will now incorporate data from Brightree Patient Collections to provide greater insights into accounts receivable and overall posting processes.

“With the expanded disease states in Brightree ReSupply and a new Advanced Analytics dashboard for Brightree Patient Collections announced today, we continue to deliver on our mission to support all aspects of an HME provider’s business in our solutions,” said Brightree CEO Matt Mellott. “We’ve been listening to our customers and are committed to continually innovating and improving on our already industry-leading software, so we can empower our customers to be efficient, profitable and successful.”

Brightree ReSupply supports two new disease states
This release marks third disease expansion of Brightree ReSupply, which initially supported sleep therapy and then expanded to the incontinence, diabetic and enteral segments in April 2019. HME providers servicing a wide range of patients will now receive greater support for their urology and ostomy patients’ needs. In addition to managing resupply orders, Brightree ReSupply aids providers in meeting payer requirements, reducing denials and improving overall revenue, on top of supporting greater therapy adherence. This scalable and automated offering includes multiple patient outreach options such as interactive voice response (IVR), live-agent inbound and outbound calls for more personal engagement with patients, as well as email reminder capabilities.

Advanced Analytics expands into patient collections
In addition, Brightree’s Advanced Analytics solution will now feature a dashboard for Brightree Patient Collections’ AutoPAY functionality. Originally launched as a feature within Brightree’s Business Management Solution at Medtrade Spring 2019, Advanced Analytics’ dynamic dashboards distill vast information from Brightree’s database and third-party databases to draw valuable insights and key metrics on multiple aspects of the HME business, including resupply orders and reorder data, patient attrition rates and business operations. The dashboards not only display KPIs for an HME’s business but also drill down into data at the user level, so providers can track and improve productivity at each level of their business.

The new dashboard, based on data from Brightree Patient Collections, shows providers how much of their revenue is being collected through AutoPAY and, importantly, where gaps exist. With the additional detail provided via Advanced Analytics, HME providers will be able to understand how AutoPAY functionality is performing for them and leverage that information to increase patient collections.

Revenue Cycle Analytics strengthened to reveal collection efficiency
Finally, Brightree also announced a new enhancement to the Revenue Cycle Analytics that will provide HMEs with a new perspective into their collection efficiency. With this update, providers will be able to view every invoice created, including how many of those invoices have been collected within a 90-day period. This new dashboard will provide clearer insight into how effectively a provider’s accounts receivable account is operating and, in turn, provide leverage for maximizing efficiency.

Together, these expansions and updates to Brightree ReSupply and Brightree Advanced Analytics for patient collections and revenue cycle management solutions will provide Brightree’s HME customers with a fuller, more robust view of their entire business to support greater efficiencies and quality patient care.
