CHAPEL HILL, North Carolina—BleepSleep, the sleep apnea technology company behind the maskless, strap-free CPAP interface, launched its redesigned direct-to-consumer Shopify store at bleepsleep.com. The launch coincides with the continued expansion of its flagship headgear-free CPAP products: the DreamPort Sleep Solution and the Eclipse CPAP Solution.
The company said its mission is to make effective, comfortable sleep apnea therapy accessible to the estimated 25 million Americans living with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), millions of whom abandon traditional CPAP therapy each year due to mask discomfort, headgear irritation and claustrophobia.
Despite being the gold standard treatment for OSA, CPAP therapy has a persistent compliance problem. Clinical research shows that between 46% and 83% of patients are nonadherent when adherence is defined as more than four hours of nightly use. The primary reasons cited: mask discomfort, claustrophobia, air leaks caused by headgear tension and skin irritation from straps. BleepSleep was founded specifically to address these barriers by eliminating the mask entirely.
“Too many CPAP users abandon therapy not because therapy doesn’t work, but because the mask makes it unbearable," said Stuart Heatherington, founder and CEO. "DreamPort and Eclipse were designed from the ground up to solve that. No headgear. No straps. No leaks. Just therapy that patients can actually stay committed to, night after night.”
New Direct-to-Consumer Shopping Experience
The newly launched Shopify-powered storefront at bleepsleep.com delivers a streamlined, patient-friendly shopping experience purpose-built for the CPAP user. The redesigned platform features intuitive product discovery, detailed fitting guides, easy reorder of consumables such as Halos adhesive interfaces and direct access to insurance and Medicare reimbursement information.
The direct-to-consumer model eliminates the friction of traditional DME (durable medical equipment) channels. A dedicated Insurance, DME and Veterans Affairs (VA) portal allows qualifying patients to access products through Medicare, Medicaid and most major private insurers, significantly lowering the cost barrier for the millions of Americans who require CPAP supplies.
The Headgear-Free CPAP Interface
The DreamPort Sleep Solution is BleepSleep’s patented first-generation CPAP interface that redefined what a CPAP mask could be. Rather than using silicone cushions, headgear straps or nasal pillows, DreamPort uses a proprietary, gentle adhesive pad system that forms a leak-free seal directly at the nostrils, with no inserts entering the nasal passage and no straps crossing the face or head. A short, flexible connecting tube allows users to sleep in any position: side, stomach or back, without mask displacement or air leaks.
Compatible with virtually all CPAP machines on the market, DreamPort operates at just 26 decibels quieter than a whisper and leaves no marks, creases or strap lines on the face.
Next-Generation Magnetic-Seal CPAP Solution
Building on the success of DreamPort, the Eclipse CPAP Solution is BleepSleep’s most advanced headgear-free interface to date. Featuring proprietary MagSeal technology, Eclipse achieves a perfect, leak-free seal in under one second using a magnetic connection system that requires no manual adjustment and no tension against the face. The device is over 35% smaller than leading nasal pillow and nasal mask competitors, with zero headgear, zero straps, zero dry-eye risk and zero facial ulcerations.
A Growing Market Demanding Real Innovation
The global sleep apnea devices market was valued at approximately $10.3 billion in 2025 and is projected to reach $22.87 billion by 2034, driven by rising OSA diagnosis rates, aging populations and increasing awareness of the cardiovascular and metabolic consequences of untreated sleep apnea. In the United States, more than 8 million CPAP interfaces are sold annually, yet adherence rates remain stubbornly low due to the discomfort of traditional mask designs.
BleepSleep’s headgear-free product line directly addresses this adherence gap. As the CPAP industry increasingly recognizes that patient outcomes depend as much on therapy adherence as on machine efficacy, mask-less and strap-free interfaces represent the fastest-growing segment of the CPAP accessories market.
