SAN DIEGO—BetterNight, a provider of comprehensive sleep health solutions, announced the appointment of Inan Beydilli as its new chief executive officer. Beydilli officially assumed the role on Aug. 25, bringing with him health care leadership experience.
Beydilli joins BetterNight following a tenure at Apria Healthcare, where he held senior leadership roles, including senior vice president of commercial strategy. During his time there, Beydilli led transformation initiatives, launched growth-focused programs and pushed for models of care that prioritized patient outcomes. Most recently, he served as CEO of HME Specialists, a regional durable medical equipment (DME) company.
"What drew me to BetterNight is its mission and the incredible company that's already been built," said Beydilli. "I believe, as Dave French (co-founder and former CEO) and the senior leadership team do, that sleep medicine must be reimagined as a comprehensive, end-to-end care model that truly centers on patient experience and outcomes. The progress made toward that vision is inspiring, and I'm honored to help lead the next chapter of growth."
According to BetterNight, sleep apnea market is experiencing rapid growth, driven by increasing awareness, rising diagnosis rates and recognition of the health risks associated with untreated sleep disorders. It is estimated that more than 30 million Americans suffer from obstructive sleep apnea, yet more than 80% remain undiagnosed. With growing evidence linking sleep apnea to chronic conditions such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes and depression, BetterNight said effective diagnosis and treatment have become health care imperatives.
Under Beydilli's leadership, BetterNight said it aims to accelerate its reach and impact.
"Inan's track record of success in health care businesses and driving patient-centric strategies makes him the ideal leader for BetterNight's next phase," said French, co-founder of BetterNight. "We're thrilled to welcome him to the team."
