PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania—BAYADA Home Health Care, a nonprofit home health care provider announced the release of its 2024 Annual Report. BAYADA said the report reflects on a year of achievements and underscores its commitment to "The BAYADA Way" as it embarks on its next half-century of care services.
Organized around the nonprofit’s five pillars of performance—people, service, quality, growth and finance—BAYADA said the 2024 annual report showcases how its priorities align to ensure financial responsibility while delivering exceptional care to those in need.
The 2024 Annual Report details the strides BAYADA has made in three key areas:
- Advocacy: BAYADA advocates for its client populations and employees to champion the homecare industry and expand access to care for more individuals, through Hearts for Home Care and other partnerships.
- Workforce Development: To build entryways for great talent to pursue home care careers, BAYADA invests in comprehensive education, training and career advancement programs and community partnerships to draw caregivers and clinicians into the industry. A key initiative includes BAYADA Education, a nonprofit established with a $5 million donation from Founder and Chairman Mark Baiada and former director Ann Baiada, RN, CRRN-retired, which launched its first accelerated bachelor of science in nursing program in September 2024 in partnership with Thomas Edison State University and Cooper University Health Care.
- Community Building: BAYADA’s commitment extends beyond individual care to active engagement with local communities and partnerships with heath systems. Engagement initiatives include sponsorship of the annual BAYADA Regatta, support for the Alzheimer’s Association and localized community outreach. Additionally, BAYADA collaborates with hospitals and health systems nationwide to improve access to care and enhance services and clinical outcomes.
“This annual report is not just a summary of our achievements; it’s an important tool for advocacy, awareness and engagement,” said David Baiada, BAYADA CEO. “It demonstrates the value of home health care as a preferred, cost-effective option at a time when external threats like changes to government funding continue to challenge our industry. It’s also a testament to what’s possible when we align around a shared mission and vision.”
