MEDIA, Penn. (October 17, 2017)—Apacheta Corporation, a mobile business solutions provider, today announced it has expanded its partnership with Brightree, a provider of cloud-based software to improve clinical and business performance of post-acute care companies, by offering customers the ability to use the Brightree Patient Collections app GetPaidHME with Apacheta software.

“We strive to offer speed, efficiency and accuracy for our customers through our delivery logistics solutions, allowing them to handle all necessary paperwork at each stop via a mobile phone or tablet. However, today collecting payments at the point of service is inefficient due to a patchwork of third party mobile applications, or worse, paper-based processes not aligned for efficient and effective transactions,” said Gregg Timmons, CEO of Apacheta. “Now with the Brightree GetPaidHME app integration, customers can seamlessly collect payments at the time of delivery, streamlining the collections process. We have been proud of our partnership with Brightree and are excited to further align our mobile initiatives with this new opportunity.”

Brightree and Apacheta began their relationship in June 2014 to offer home medical equipment (HME) and durable medical equipment (DME) providers a mobile delivery management solution that integrated with Brightree’s platforms. The GetPaidHME app is an extension that will now work in collaboration with Apacheta’s mobile delivery solution.

GetPaidHME and TransportACE run on Apple and Android devices, where sales order data, including recipient information and the amount due, are shared electronically to virtually eliminate the patchwork of third party mobile payment applications and paper invoices. The integration allows delivery technicians to process payments using a major credit card, e-check, or FSA/HSA card. Once payment is collected, the GetPaidHME app automatically posts back into the Brightree billing system eliminating manual entry.

“Working with Apacheta the past three years to offer mobile delivery solutions for our customers has been a significant contribution in our efforts to streamline operations and eliminate inefficiencies in the HME/DME industry,” said Shaw Rietkerk, executive vice president and general manager of Brightree Revenue Cycle Management. “Now customers can not only eliminate paperwork at delivery but with collecting payments we are also removing the need for paper invoices sent in the mail after the delivery is made. With our partnership with Apacheta, we are one step closer to creating an entirely paperless environment for our clients.”

Apacheta and Brightree will be onsite at Medtrade in Atlanta, Georgia, October 23–25 in the Brightree booth (#1211) to demonstrate the capabilities of GetPaid. Additionally, representatives from both companies will be on a panel entitled “Financial Justifications for Going Mobile: Operational Benefits of Mobile Technology” to discuss all aspects of using mobile technology and how it can improve a company’s bottom line on Tuesday, Octber 24 at 2:15pm–3:45 pm.
