PEEKSKILL, New York—Angels on Call Homecare has been named a 2026 Best of Home Care Employer of Choice from Activated Insights.
The Employer of Choice designation recognizes homecare agencies earning high marks from verified care professional feedback and outperforming local competitors in workforce satisfaction.
Angels on Call's proof of quality results included 93.6% for recommend employment, 93.6% for training received, 93.7% for office support staff and 92% for client/caregiver compatibility.
Its caregiver satisfaction benchmark report also showed Angels on Call outperforming national industry averages in recommend employment, training received, office support staff and overall combined average.
"The homecare industry cannot keep asking people to deliver increasingly complex care while treating them like interchangeable labor," said Eric J. Dalton, vice president of Angels on Call Homecare. "If we want to raise the standard of care, we have to raise the standard of how we prepare, support and invest in the people delivering it. A care professional supporting someone living with advanced dementia or Parkinson's disease needs knowledge, confidence, clinical support and a pathway to mastery. The standard of care can never rise higher than the standard by which we develop the people providing it."
"Strong culture has to be supported by strong systems," said Robert Dalton, CEO and certified financial officer of Angels on Call Homecare. "Training, clinical leadership, communication, recognition and thoughtful client matching are investments in both our workforce and the families who depend on us. This recognition is meaningful because it comes from the experience of the care professionals doing this work every day."
