STOCKHOLM, Sweden—Permobil, a manufacturing company of assistive mobility solutions, announced the appointment of Ana Lopez as chief operating officer (COO), effective April 15. Lopez will join Permobil’s global leadership team and lead the company’s end-to-end supply chain.

Lopez joins Permobil from Unilever, where she most recently served as senior vice president of North America Foods Supply Chain, leading end-to-end supply chain operations supporting more than $6.5 billion in sales. There, she oversaw end‑to‑end supply chain operations across a broad network of internal and external manufacturing sites.

Prior to Unilever, Lopez held senior leadership roles at Johnson & Johnson, including vice president of global cardiovascular manufacturing and vice president of global surgery supply chain strategy and deployment. She led global manufacturing and supply chain organizations across highly regulated medical devices, pharmaceuticals and consumer health care.
Lopez holds an MBA in health care management from Regis University and advanced degrees in industrial engineering. She is bilingual in English and Spanish and a certified Six Sigma Black Belt. Ana will report to Witkowski as a member of the company’s global leadership team.
