The traditional workforce model in home medical equipment (local hiring, rising labor costs, long onboarding cycles) is no longer sustainable. Yet many operators are hesitant to adopt alternative models due to concerns around quality, control and compliance. This session breaks down how the workforce is evolving, what modern home medical equipment (HME) businesses are doing differently and how to build a hybrid operational model that balances cost-efficiency with performance. We’ll also address common misconceptions around outsourced teams and what it actually takes to maintain control while scaling efficiently.
