Birmingham, Alabama (June 7, 2019)—About a third of providers don't expect the Patient-Driven Groupings Model (PDGM) to change their therapy utilization, according to a survey conducted by the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) recently concluded a survey of the home health industry on the subject; another quarter of respondents to the survey said they expect a decrease of 10% or more.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (March 18, 2019)—The Medicare Payment Advisory Commission (MedPAC), released its annual March report to Congress on March 15, 2019. MedPAC is required to produce this report; however, Congress is not required to act upon all the recommendations contained in the report and historically has not done so. Chapters 9 and 12 of the Report, Home Health Recommendations and Hospice Recommendations respectively, will be of most interest to NAHC members.

WASHINGTON, D.C. (February 20, 2018)—The Board of Directors of the National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) announced the appointment of William A. Dombi as the President of NAHC. Mr. Dombi was originally named interim president of NAHC in August 2017 following the passing of NAHC’s long-time president Val J. Halamandaris.
