MCKINNEY, Texas (April 7, 2020)—Senior Helpers, a provider of personalized in-home senior care, announced its McKinney, Texas, facility is now open for business. Managed and operated by Yvonne Adeuga, the new franchise will serve senior citizens and their families throughout the McKinney area, including, Fairview, Wylie, Prosper, Celina, and Anna among other cities. Senior Helpers of McKinney hopes to bring more than 30 new jobs to the region during the next year. As with any Senior Helpers franchise location, its professionally trained caregivers at the McKinney location will help local seniors continue to enjoy the comfort of their own home despite age-related illnesses and mobility challenges.

“I come from a big family with four siblings and grew up with both sets of grandparents in our home, which is how my love for seniors began,” said Adeuga. “I think it’s really important to care for seniors because they are an integral part of our community. They sacrificed so much for us, so it is our responsibility to care for them, and enable them to age with dignity, with the best type of care available to them.”

“I was drawn to Senior Helpers for two reasons,” Adeuga added. “First, Senior Helpers has a passion for helping the senior community, which really resonated with me. I enjoy waking up every day with a purpose, knowing that I am making a difference with Senior Helpers. We are proud to provide a valuable resource to our community by helping to alleviate the stress associated with caregiving and ensure a better quality of life for families through personalized in-home senior care. Secondly, the company values its franchisees and genuinely cares about their success.”

Senior Helpers operates with a vision to be the leading homecare company in each community it serves. Its caregivers at Senior Helpers of McKinney are trained to offer the highest level of care possible based on the company’s Senior Gems Alzheimer’s and dementia care program. As the gold standard for excellence in personalized in-home senior care, the program was developed in conjunction with nationally recognized dementia care expert Teepa Snow, Positive Approach, LLC. Local residents will also benefit from the company’s Parkinson’s Care Program, a specialized training program for their caregivers created in conjunction with leading experts from the Parkinson’s Foundation’s Centers of Excellence network.

“We are thrilled to welcome Yvonne to our team as the newest Senior Helpers franchise owner,” said Peter Ross, chief executive officer, Senior Helpers. “Yvonne is truly passionate about the senior community and her understanding of the importance of in-home senior care will be critical to the success of this location and, ultimately, the well-being of its clients. We are excited to see her thrive in a setting that is rewarding for seniors and families living throughout McKinney.”

Senior Helpers of McKinney opened to the public on March 2, 2020, and will continue to operate during the current COVID-19 pandemic as an essential health service and home health agency. The location offers personal protection equipment (PPE), provided by Senior Helpers and designed to help ensure all its caregivers and clients remain safe and also continue providing optimal care for seniors and their families during this critical time when they are most vulnerable.
