HASBROUCK HEIGHTS, N.J. (October 12, 2018)—CareFinders Total Care, a home health care company based in New Jersey and Connecticut, announced that its board of directors has named James T Robinson as the company’s new chief executive officer (CEO). Robinson brings more than 30 years of leadership experience with health care companies across multiple segments, including home health care, hospice services, interventional pain management and physician practice management services. He has been on the leading edge of health care delivery innovation in the U.S. for most of his career, building and leading executive management teams for several of the most successful companies in the industry, including Amedisys and National Spine & Pain Centers. As CareFinders’ new CEO, Robinson’s top priorities will be accelerating the company’s growth strategies and advancing CareFinders’ new vision in homecare.

“I am honored to have been selected as CareFinders’ CEO. It is a privilege to be joining an organization that is mission-focused on finding new and better ways to deliver diverse, high-quality health care services in the home,” said Robinson. “As the industry continues to shift toward an ever-increasing focus on generating improved outcomes, CareFinders is well-positioned to provide efficient, high-quality services in the lowest-cost setting on a large scale, which will help to reduce total system health care expenditures. CareFinders is already focusing on the early identification of health care risks and the adoption of proactive interventional protocols. I look forward to working with our management team, employees and caregivers to advance CareFinders’ culture of innovation to serve the best interests of our patients and unlock the next level of our company’s success.”

“This is the perfect time for Jim to join as CareFinders’ new CEO,” said co-chairman Linda Mintz. “Today’s pace of change in homecare is exponential. Every provider of health care needs to be prepared to serve the needs of a growing elderly population by looking at innovative ways to deliver better outcomes in a home setting. CareFinders’ role in the transformation of home health care has never been more important. Jim is unique in his ability to translate vision and strategy into world-class execution and his experience bringing together teams and solutions will move our company forward with the speed required to capitalize on the opportunities in front of us. He will be a natural champion of the CareFinders’ culture and has an incredible ability to inspire, energize and connect with employees, partners, payors and industry leaders.”

“Jim’s long and successful track record of building and growing industry-leading organizations, all with a focus on the highest levels of patient care, will benefit our patients and employees,” said Sanford Hausner, co-chairman. “We are excited to work with Jim to continue to transform home health care, expand the total care services that we can provide in the home and raise the bar for the entire industry. We look forward to feeling his impact as we continue in our mission to bring a fresh vision to the home health care industry. Jim is exactly the type of leader that CareFinders needs as we enter our next chapter, which I am confident will be even more impactful and exciting than our last.”

Prior to joining CareFinders as CEO, Robinson served as CEO of National Spine & Pain Centers LLC (NSPC) from 2015 to 2018. NSPC is a private equity-backed Management Services Organization (MSO) for a network of Interventional Pain Management practices in the U.S. During his tenure at NSPC, Robinson led the turnaround, growth and sale of the organization. Before joining NSPC, Jim was an executive with Amedisys Inc. from 2010 to 2015. At Amedisys, a national provider of health care at home services, Robinson held several leadership positions including president of the hospice division, chief development officer and executive vice president of all U.S. homecare and hospice operations.
