Robert Cohen will serve a two-year term as the new chair of AdvaMed's Tech Board starting this month

WASHINGTON—Medtech association AdvaMed announced Robery Cohen will be the next chair of its Digital Health Tech board of directors. Cohen is the vice president of innovation and technology of the orthopaedic group at Stryker.He succeeds Dr. Taha Kass-Hout, global chief science and technology officer at GE HealthCare, who served as the inaugural chair of the board overseeing the then-newly created division.  

Cohen will serve a two-year term beginning this month.

We also want to celebrate Taha Kass-Hout for his service as the inaugural DHT board chair. Taha’s leadership has been invaluable to the DHT division, AdvaMed, and the success of our members.”

AdvaMed announced the formation of its Digital Health Tech division in October 2023. The division represents digital health companies, medtech companies with a significant digital component and big tech companies with health care products and services. The division and the establishment of the Medical Imaging Technology division announced in December 2023 ensure AdvaMed represents the entire ecosystem of the medtech, digital health tech and medical imaging companies providing high tech, interconnected solutions to serve patients.
