NASHVILLE, Tenn. (July 17, 2018)—PlayMaker Health, a post-acute growth platform, has acquired viaDirect Solutions, a provider of market intelligence and data analytics for the post-acute sector.
“Incorporating their market intelligence and data analytics into our purpose-built post-acute platform gives our current and potential clients the most comprehensive view of their market, from untapped referral sources to opportunities for expansion," said PlayMaker Health Chief Executive Officer John Griscavage. "It made perfect sense for us to join forces and add strategic value for our clients and partners.”
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. viaDirect principals John Kiehl and Ginger Voss join the PlayMaker leadership team, with Kiehl leading the data analytics strategy and Voss managing strategic partnerships. Griscavage remains as chief executive officer.
Founded in 2008, PlayMaker’s proprietary platform transforms claims data, provider and hospital referral patterns and readmission rates, EMR data and business development activity into actionable sales intelligence, according to the company's press statement.
“Since the beginning of viaDirect, we had a goal of developing CRM functionality,“ said Voss, now vice president of strategic partnerships for PlayMaker Health, in a press release. “We were excited for the opportunity to merge our solutions. Combining our resources and experience allows us to stay at the forefront of post-acute data innovation.”
Now known as PlayMaker Health, PlayMaker has refined its brand, company name and website.
