Permobil Completes Big Move

LEBANON, Tenn. — Permobil has completed the move to its new North American Operations Center and opened for business at the 120,000-sq. ft. building on Nov. 8. Located on a 17-acre site, the new plant — which features technically advanced manufacturing and a variety of green-building technologies — doubles the size of the Swedish manufacturer's previous facilities here.

When the company broke ground on the $12 million project last year, officials said it was the largest single capital investment that Permobil had ever made since it was established more than 40 years ago.
