ZUG, Switzerland—Ohio Medical, a brand of the GCE Medical, will feature the Zen-O and Zen-O Lite portable oxygen concentrators (POCs) at this year’s Medtrade show and conference held March 2-4 in Phoenix, AZ. GCE Medical is the health care arm of the GCE Group and focuses on gas control solutions. Ohio Medical will exhibit at Booth 1148, where it will showcase its portfolio of home medical care equipment.

POC Innovations
In its booth, Ohio Medical will display its Zen-O and Zen-O Lite POCs and M50 Stationary Concentrator. With pulse and continuous oxygen delivery modes, breath sensitivity, and Rate Response Therapy (RRT) that automatically adjusts to patient demands, Zen-O and Zen-O Lite provide the best care for active patients requiring oxygen therapy.
“RRT is a real differentiator when patients are active, such as when climbing stairs or taking a walk,” Jani said.
Unlike fixed-volume systems that can reduce the oxygen bolus at higher breath rates, RRT provides a constant bolus size and increases delivery when the patient needs more oxygen, ensuring their saturation levels are maintained during activity. This dynamic adjustment allows patients to remain active and saturated, even at high breath rates, without needing to manually change device settings.
