NVNA and Hospice announced as of Dec. 1 it will rebrand as Croí Health

NORWELL, Massachusetts—NVNA and Hospice, a nonprofit home health and hospice agency, announced it is rebranding as Croí Health starting Monday, Dec. 1. The agency, founded in 1920, said it will remain independent and maintain the same care team, changing only its name.

"This fall, our organization will have a new name, Croí Health," the company announced on its website. "Our current name reflects our past, and by the end of 2025, we will no longer be known as NVNA and Hospice. Our new name will take us into the future, reflecting all that we do and our commitment to growth. With your help and support, we will expand patient care access while maintaining the clinical excellence you have always expected from us."

Over the years, NVNA and Hospice has expanded its service area to 27 towns, adding hospice services in 2008. Then, in 2013, NVNA and Hospice opened the Pat Roche Hospice Home, the first nonprofit, independent hospice home in the region. The company said “Croí” draws inspiration from the Gaelic word meaning “heart."

“As our services evolve, so too must our identity,” said Renee McInnes, CEO of Croí Health. “Our new name represents both our legacy and our future. While our services have grown, our mission has never wavered: providing compassionate, expert care for our community. Croí, meaning ‘heart,’ perfectly captures the spirit of how we serve by leading with heart in every interaction and every home we enter.”
