CHESTNUT RIDGE, N.Y. — Software provider MedFORCE Technologies announced Sept. 28 it has launched an online store (www.medforcetech.com/store) where customers can buy apps and add-ons to help with workflow and business efficiency. The store features auto-filing templates, forms, additional user licenses and consulting services in various categories.
Earlier this year, the company's MedForce Scan document management system earned preliminary ARRA certification for its electronic health record module. According to the company, that means some users could potentially qualify for financial incentives that the government may make available under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to assure compliance with security requirements for EHRs.
