ELYRIA, Ohio — Cyclist Mark Junge plans to leave today from Charleston, S.C., on his sixth annual ride to raise awareness of COPD.

A retired historian, writer and photographer from Cheyenne, Wyo., Junge suffers from blood clots in his lungs that cause him to be oxygen-dependent. Sponsored by Invacare and traveling with the company's XPO2 POC and Solo2 transportable concentrator, this year Junge plans to bike 792 miles along the East Coast, ending his trek in Key West, Fla., in mid-November.
