CLEVELAND (March 13, 2018)—After acquiring four major health businesses in a little over a year, Compass Health Brands—formed from the merger of Carex Health Brands and Roscoe Medical—is laying the groundwork to build upon its customer-first culture as it continues to rapidly grow its core offerings of ProBasics, Roscoe, Meridian and Carex brands under the Compass Health Brands umbrella. The company has realigned its sales organization and more than doubled its field sales presence to better serve the needs of its dealer customer base.

Additionally, Compass Health Brands have expanded its inside account team to include a customer and sales support representative (CSSR) that will provide a personalized concierge-level of customer service to its customer base. To further this progress and execute the company’s 2018 goals and beyond, Compass Health Brands announces the addition of Gregory Zenko, Todd Blockinger, Michael Scarsella and Peter Kaplan to its leadership team.

As senior vice president of the HME division, Gregory Zenko brings over 20 years of experience in the medical device and capital medical equipment industry to lead the company’s strategy, development and position in the home medical equipment market and distributor channels for both domestic and global markets. Reporting to Gregory Zenko is Todd Blockinger, who recently served as vice president of sales for MED Group and joins Compass Health Brands as vice president of strategic accounts; and Michael Scarsella, who served as the NE Regional vice president at Golden Technologies and joins Compass Health Brands as national sales director.

In addition, Peter Kaplan recently joined the company as vice president of product management and brings over 27 years of product and marketing management experience in health care and consumer products, crossing the spectrum of retail, distribution and manufacturing.
