OWINGS MILLS, Md. (February 26, 2019)—The Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC) is a winner in this year’s Stevie Awards competition for Sales Distinction of the Year. This award marks the organization’s ninth consecutive Stevie Award.
BOC’s Bronze Stevie Award for Sales Distinction of the Year in the “Healthcare, Pharmaceuticals, and Related Industries” category recognizes the organization’s successful growth despite an industry decline in one of BOC’s largest customer target-markets: durable medical equipment (DME) providers.
The organization credits growing its customer base and revenue with using a customer-centric sales approach and a commitment to attentively guide new customers through the accreditation process.
“BOC believes that our growth and sales success are directly connected to our ability to respond to marketplace needs,” says BOC president and CEO Claudia Zacharias, MBA, CAE. “Our relationship and strong communication with customers allow us to understand their business needs and respond based on their valuable feedback.”
The Stevie Awards are the world’s premier business awards, created to honor and generate public recognition of the achievements and positive contributions of organizations and working professionals worldwide. The Stevie Awards announced these winners during a gala banquet on Friday, February 22 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada.
