BALTIMORE and ATLANTA — Baltimore-based health care delivery management business Ankota and software developer CareCentric, Atlanta, announced last week they have formed a strategic alliance that integrates Ankota's technology for managing the delivery of care with CareCentric's capabilities for managing the business side of care.
Specifically, Ankota will provide optimization of staff schedules and mobile work management for HME delivery while CareCentric will add support with its Caretinuum software, patient billing, medical equipment inventory and point-of-care nursing documentation programs.
"Both companies are focused on improving the quality and efficiency of home health care to help drive success for our customers, so naturally we are excited about the impact this partnership will have for our customers and the industry," CareCentric President and CEO Darrell Young said in a release.
