ANAHEIM, Calif., Nov. 1, 2012—Mark Wels, president of MK Battery, has announced organizational changes to the company’s home medical equipment (HME) business segment. Dennis Sharpe has been appointed as global director, HME Business and Bret Tracy has joined the company as associate director, HME Business.

“Dennis has been the face of MK Battery for well over two decades in the HME/Mobility arena,” Wels said. “His legendary status and the unparalleled business relationships that he has forged over the years support his ascension to this new management level.”

Sharpe, in conjunction with the sales team, will continue to manage and support MK Battery’s HME initiatives both domestically and internationally while also serving on global wheelchair standards committees and representing the company in legislative affairs.

Based in Las Vegas, Tracy brings a wealth of experience in the home medical equipment industry, most notably as a regional sales manager for a major mobility products manufacturer. His broad industry contacts and in-depth knowledge of the mobility landscape and its challenges make him uniquely qualified to assist Sharpe in managing MK Battery’s core HME business segment.
