FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (Sept. 9, 2014)—Managed Health Care Associates, Inc. (MHA), a health care services and technology company focused on the alternate site health care provider marketplace, held its second annual legislative meeting in Washington D.C., Sept. 9th-10th for its Long Term Care (LTC) and Home Infusion/Specialty members.

MHA's 2014 Legislative Meeting included a line-up of prominent speakers presenting topics pertinent to the MHA LTC Pharmacy, Home Infusion and Durable Medical Equipment membership.

Day two of the meeting took place on Capitol Hill, with over 200 prescheduled visits with members of Congress. The Legislative Day meetings focused on MAC Transparency, Daily Dispensing Fee, and the Part D Final Rule for LTC Pharmacy members. The Home Infusion Site of Care Act and the Audit Relief Act were the focus of the meetings for Home Infusion members.

Michael J. Sicilian, President of MHA, stated, "As the leader in this space, we feel it is our responsibility to help facilitate these meetings and assist in ongoing critical education.
