The CGS Provider Outreach and Education Team is pleased to announce its Fall 2012 workshop series, "Follow the Medicare Path." The workshops will be offered in two different formats in selected cities: a “Mega” format and a “Comprehensive” format.
These workshops give Jurisdiction C suppliers an in-depth look at a variety of Medicare topics, policies and procedures. Participants have ample opportunities to get their questions answered directly by the Provider Outreach and Education representatives available at the workshops.
The Mega workshops allow attendees to choose from a variety of sessions throughout the day ranging from Medicare documentation requirements and Medicare audit agencies to LCD-specific policies including oxygen, power mobility devices and lower limb prostheses. We have selected “tracks” such as Respiratory, Welcome to Medicare or Orthotics & Prosthetics to enhance the workshop experience and help suppliers attend sessions that will benefit them and their business the most. A help desk will be open during the workshop for any questions or concerns. Mega workshops are coming to Atlanta, Houston and Orlando.
The Comprehensive workshops focus on Medicare documentation requirements and precise LCD policy groups selected by the attendees during the registration process. This format assures the participant leaves with the most up-to-date, accurate Medicare information available. Provider Outreach representatives will be on-hand to answer questions and verify understanding of the material covered. Comprehensive workshops are scheduled for Denver, Jacksonville and Raleigh/Durham. More information is available here.
