PEACHTREE CITY, Ga. (Jan. 7, 2015)SIGVARIS in the U.S. has enlisted the expertise of Robyn Bjork, from the International Lymphedema & Wound Care Training Institute, to help support innovation for patients with lymphedema, CVI and venous ulcers.

“I’m thrilled to be partnering with SIGVARIS and to share my insights and experience with patients who live daily with lymphedema,” said Bjork. “Together, I hope we can develop the most innovative products for those who suffer from lymphedema and are in need of wound care.”

Bjork is a physical therapist who is an expert in the field of wound care and lymphedema management. She teaches both nationally and internationally on topics related to wound care, edema and lymphedema management and has more than 15 years’ experience in the field. She is also cofounder and president of an international medical mission organization, ILWTI Medical Missions.

She is certified through the National Alliance of Wound Care, the American Board of Wound Management, Lymphology Association of North America, and is the new secretariat of the World Alliance of Wound and Lymphedema Care.
