Ottobock announces three new wheelchair cushions

Ottobock of Minneapolis last week launched of the Aerial, Terra and Aquos wheelchair cushions, which are made from proprietary materials that promote clinical effectiveness. The ultra lightweight Aerial weighs 1.74 pounds and uses breathable reticulated foam and BREATHAIR® technology. The super lightweight Terracushion weighs less than 2 pounds and uses a rest-suspension foam developed by and exclusively available through Ottobock. The Aquos cushion combines the benefits of liquid and foam. It uses Ottobock’s rest-suspension foam and ultra-thin Liquicell inserts in a water-resistant Dartex cushion cover to help reduce shear forces and maintain skin integrity.
