WASHINGTON (Sept. 22, 2014)—Inovalon, Inc., a technology company that provides advanced cloud-based data analytics and data-driven intervention platforms to the healthcare industry, hosted decision-makers and experts from across the healthcare industry during its 2014 Client Congress.
The three-day event includes executives from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), analysts, clients representing a range of health plans and integrated healthcare delivery systems, academic institutions, physician associations and technology companies.
The event took place in Washington, D.C., September 21-23.
Expert moderated discussions included: "ACA Exchange Marketplace: The First Year," "EHRs and Big Data: Empowering the Point of Care," "Drivers and Enablers of Innovation for Data-Driven Healthcare," "Dual Eligibles vs. Non Duals - How do they Compare?" and "Predictive Analytics at the Point of Care."
Keynote speakers at the congress included Sean Cavanaugh, deputy administrator and director of the Center for Medicare at CMS, and Patrick Conway, M.D., deputy administrator for innovation and quality and chief medical officer for CMS. Notable panelists included Susan Dentzer, senior policy adviser at the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and on-air analyst on health issues with the PBS NewsHour; Peter Gosselin, senior healthcare analyst with Bloomberg Government; and Patrick Carroll, M.D, chief medical officer, Walgreen's Healthcare Clinics.
