LOUIS (June 22, 2021)—Responsive Respiratory, Inc. is aware of Philips Respironics recall of a number of CPAP, BiPAP and ventilator devices utilizing PE‐PUR foam for sound abatement in their construction. As noted in Philips Respironics communication, the off gassing and degradation of the PE‐PUR foam may be present from the outset of the use of its products and that humidity and high heat environments may also contribute further to its breakdown.
