Pride Donates Wheelchairs

EXETER, Pa. — Donated wheelchairs and seat cushions from
Pride Mobility Products have become part of 64 containers of
supplies that have arrived or are in route to Haiti through
Gleaning for the World, Concord, Va. The non-profit organization
recovers excess medical equipment and supplies from industries in
the United States and sends them to communities in need around the
world. According to the organization, wheelchairs have been one of
the most requested items from its partners on the ground in Haiti
due to injured legs from fallen buildings in the January earthquake
that devastated the island nation.
