Matter Health Expands Home-Based Care to Massachusetts and Across Georgia
NASHVILLE, Tennessee—Matter Health, which delivers home-based care through clinical affiliates to dual-eligible Medicare-Medicaid members living in affordable housing communities, today announced the launch of services in Massachusetts and a significant expansion of its presence in Georgia.
The company said the expansion gives it the opportunity to serve several thousand new patients across Massachusetts and Georgia, significantly boosting the total number of patients the company can serve across its three-state footprint, including Tennessee. Additionally, Matter Health can now serve patients living in more than 2,000 affordable housing buildings across those three states.
“This is an important moment for Matter Health, but what matters most is what these numbers represent: thousands more older adults who now have access to care built around where they live and what they need,” said CEO Michael Scarbrough. “Our vision is that no older adult should go without quality care because of where they call home. Expanding in Georgia and launching in Massachusetts bring us another meaningful step closer to that vision, and I’m incredibly proud of the team that made it possible.”
Matter Health brings primary and preventive care directly to patients living in affordable housing communities. Matter Health is an in-network provider, and its care teams work directly with patients in their homes, building ongoing relationships designed around each person’s health and needs.
The company said the expansion into Massachusetts and across Georgia follows growth in Matter Health’s home state of Tennessee. Matter plans to expand into additional states in 2027.
