FirstLight Home Care Marks Expands Into Iowa
WEST DES MOINES, Iowa—Nonmedical provider FirstLight Home Care is expanding into Iowa for the first time with a new location in West Des Moines. The opening brings FirstLight’s national footprint to 40 states, the company said.
Owned and operated by Isaac and Courtney Miller, FirstLight Home Care of West Des Moines will provide personalized in-home support to seniors and other adults, helping them maintain their independence at home. The team will serve clients with a range of needs, including older adults aging in place, veterans, adults with disabilities, people living with dementia and those recovering from illness or surgery.
Miller, an attorney and business leader, was drawn to homecare after helping his mother recover from several major surgeries and seeing firsthand the challenges families can face when navigating care options and finding dependable support.
“I know firsthand how overwhelming it can be to find the right care for someone you love,” said Miller. “My family’s experience showed me the difference the right support and communication can make. I chose FirstLight because it gave me the opportunity to build the kind of home care experience I wish my family had when we needed it.”
The new location joins FirstLight’s network of more than 300 locations across 40 states.
