GAO Working on Oxygen Report

WASHINGTON — In November, the Government Accountability
Office is expected to publish a report on the cost of providing
home oxygen therapy. AAHomecare was invited to review and provide
feedback on the draft report but was asked by the GAO not to
discuss its details, the association reported.

AAHomecare members at the Sept. 17 review meeting included
Jackie Bolt of Carolina Homecare Medical, Wayne Knewasser from
Premier Home Care, George Kucka from Fairmeadows Home Health, Scott
Lloyd of Extrakare, Kimberlie Rogers-Bowers from Apria Healthcare
and Randy Wolfe from Lambert’s Healthcare. Invacare’s Cara
Bachenheimer and AAHomecare’s Stacey Harms also attended the
meeting.
