Prodigy Distributor Moves to U.S.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Diagnostic Devices will relocate its
manufacturing operations from Southeast Asia to Charlotte, N.C.,
during the next 18 months. According to a press release, the move
will create more than 100 high-tech, full-time jobs in a
44,600-sq.-ft. manufacturing and distribution facility. After 18
years of manufacturing overseas, said Rick Admani Abulhaj, COO, the
company will now have complete control of its intellectual property
and oversight of quality controls.

The company is the distributor of the Prodigy line of blood
glucose monitoring systems.
