Choose CHAP for CMS Compliance

This session will explain how CHAP accreditation will enable HME organizations to achieve compliance with Medicare regulations. The session will include an overview of the CHAP accreditation process, including the initial and renewal self-study, which enables an organization to self-assess compliance or non-compliance with the CMS regulations and CHAP standards. There also will be a discussion of the plan for or actual integration of CMS regulations into the CHAP standards and the crosswalk from the CHAP standards to the CMS regulations.

Navigating Medicare’s Qualified Supplier Regulations for Orthotic, Prosthetic and DME Companies

With Medicare’s new accreditation regulations for all suppliers of orthotics, prosthetics, and durable medical equipment, finding an approved source of affordable accreditation is critical to your business. This session will teach business owners the ins and outs of Medicare’s new regulation and introduce attendees to ABC’s CMS-approved accreditation programs for O&P and DME suppliers. ABC’s accreditation standards incorporate aspects of patient safety, quality care outcomes and measures of organizational progress.
