America Wellness Group Acquires New Hampshire Medical Supply

WASHINGTON—America Wellness Group (AWG) has acquired New Hampshire Medical Supply (NHMS), a home medical equipment supply company.

This marks the first acquisition for AWG in the home medical equipment (HME) segment, and AWG CEO Marcio Lima said it is, “deliberately the first of many.”

Since 1962, NHMS has helped Washington-area patients live safely and independently at home. Today it serves the region through six locations across D.C. and Maryland, including dedicated service points inside leading area hospitals and community health centers.

The company said nothing will change for patients: same name, same team, same stores. What changes is access to AWG’s technology, billing infrastructure and AI-enabled operations, built to help local operators grow.

“Over the past several months, as Marcio and I discussed NHMS, its operations and its future, I came to appreciate that he understood something fundamental: the relationship between NHMS and CPCG was not accidental,” said Saleem Shah, CEO of NHMS. “It was deliberately designed to create operational strength, scalability and consistency.
