AAHomecare Adds Lobby Firm

ARLINGTON, Va. — In addition to its Save Homecare Now
grassroots campaign (see “Save
Homecare Now), AAHomecare has turned up the decibel level in
the fight to get the industry’s message out about competitive
bidding, audits and other HME issues. The association said it has
engaged Washington government relations firm Mehlman Vogel
Castagnetti (MVC) to “amplify” HME’s voice in the nation’s
capital.

AAHomecare said the lobbying firm has “significant expertise in
health care matters” and includes veteran staff from Senate and
House members, the executive branch and presidential campaigns.
