AAHomecare Sets Date for 2027 Washington Legislative Conference
ARLINGTON, Virginia—The American Association for Homecare (AAHomecare) announced its 2027 Washington Legislative Conference will take place May 12-13.
According to AAHomecare, the conference will offer a networking reception and dinner at the Capitol Hill Club the evening of May 12, allowing attendees to connect with fellow members and Association leadership before advocating together on the Hill. On May 13, attendees will start with a strategy breakfast to prepare for a full day of meetings with legislators and their staff on Capitol Hill.
“When Congress hears consistent, unified messages from providers and manufacturers across the country, lawmakers gain a clear picture of what matters to their constituents” AAHomecare said when announcing the dates in an email. “They understand the stakes, they see the real impact of current programs and policies on patients and the businesses that serve them, and they are far more likely to act. That’s why your presence in Washington matters.”
Registration and hotel details will be announced at a later time.
“For now, please mark May 12–13 on your calendar and plan to join us,” AAHomecare said. “The homecare community is stronger when we show up.”
Last year, more than 120 HME stakeholders met with members of Congress and staff to raise the profile on policy priorities, including Medicare reimbursement, proposed changes to noninvasive ventilation (NIV) coverage, patient access to upgraded wheelchairs, Medicare Advantage and proposed tariffs.
