UpLift Supports Arthritis Research

DARTMOUTH, Nova Scotia — Uplift Technologies announced
last week that a portion of its May 2011 lift seat sales will be
donated to support arthritis research.

Recently, several Uplift products were awarded the “Ease-of-Use
Commendation” after passing stringent tests developed by the
Arthritis Foundation and conducted at the Georgia Tech Research
Institute in Atlanta.

“Our products lessen the impact arthritis can have on daily
living,” Michele Fash, the company’s marketing manager, said in a
release, “and research is critical to develop the tools that will
help the millions affected by arthritis.”
