SOLENVIA Caregivers Signs Second Franchise Agreement in Connecticut
MIDDLETOWN, Connecticut—SOLENVIA Caregivers, a senior homecare franchise built on speed, reliability and deep experience in memory care, has awarded three territories covering Fairfield County, Connecticut, to new franchisees Karen Lindstrom and Gordon Hurlbert. The deal is SOLENVIA’s second franchise agreement and its first in its home state. It comes just one month after the brand signed its first franchisees in Tampa, Florida, bringing SOLENVIA to five franchise territories in its first year of franchising.
“Awarding franchise territories in the same state where SOLENVIA began is a special moment for our team,” said Bryan Dylewski, founder of SOLENVIA Caregivers. “Karen and Gordon both call Connecticut home, and they’ve spent their careers in healthcare. They understand what families in their community are looking for when a loved one requires help at home—someone they can trust, who shows up every time and treats them like family. We’re proud to have them bring that level of care to more families in Fairfield County.”
Lindstrom, a practicing nurse anesthetist, has been a nurse for 35 years. Hurlbert has worked in healthcare education and patient care for over 25 years and currently operates a Medicare insurance agency. The two met through a professional business group and have since spent several years evaluating homecare businesses together. They ultimately chose the franchising route for its proven systems and support over launching an independent homecare business, and said they selected SOLENVIA Caregivers for its caregiver transportation program, strength in 24-hour care and Dylewski’s commitment to families.
“When we started looking for a business, we kept coming back to the idea of building something around caring for people, because that’s what we’ve done our whole careers,” said Hurlbert. “We know how much families rely on the people caring for their loved ones. SOLENVIA Caregivers gave us a model that already works, and after connecting with Bryan, we saw how much he cares about getting it right for every client. That sealed it for us.”
“I’ve spent my career watching families try to manage care for someone they love, and it’s hard. Building an agency from scratch would have meant recreating everything SOLENVIA Caregivers has already refined,” Lindstrom said. “Joining this system lets us focus on what matters most—hiring great caregivers and taking care of people in our community.”
As they prepare to launch, Lindstrom and Hurlbert will each lead different sides of the business. Lindstrom will oversee office operations and caregiver hiring, while Hurlbert will focus on building relationships with referral partners. They will be supported through onboarding and launch by Justin Brady, SOLENVIA Caregivers’ newly appointed vice president of franchise operations.
“Between our first two franchise agreements and bringing Justin on to lead franchise operations, this has been a big stretch of growth for SOLENVIA,” said Dylewski. “The demand for reliable homecare is there, and so is the interest from owners who want to deliver it. Karen and Gordon are a great example of the kind of owners we want growing alongside us.”
