Register for ICD-10 Conference Call

Providers can now register for CMS’ ICD-10 Implementation and
General Equivalence Mappings (Crosswalks) national provider
conference call, which will be held May 19 from 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m.
EDT. The call will include an overview of the final rule, which
requires the implementation of ICD-10-CM/PCS on Oct. 1, 2013; the
differences between ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM/PCS codes; general
equivalence mappings created to assist in converting policies,
edits and trend data to ICD-10-CM/PCS; and resources that are
available to assist in planning for the transition. Get a fact
