Ramos New BOC Public Member

OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Iraq war veteran and legislative
research specialist Jose R. Ramos has joined the board of directors
of the Board of Certification/Accreditation, International (BOC) as
its “public member,” representing both direct and indirect users of
practitioners’ services.

Ramos, an arm amputee who sustained the loss during deployment
as a Navy corpsman in Iraq, works in the office of the Assistant
Secretary of Defense for Legislative Affairs at the Pentagon and is
also a member of the Peer Reviewed Orthopedic Research Program
Integration Panel at the Department of Defense.
