Check Out Paralympics Broadcast

VANCOUVER, B.C. — On tap at the Paralympic Winter Games
today, women’s and men’s giant slalom, a full day of wheelchair
curling and continuing preliminary rounds of sled (sledge)
hockey.

And this year, you can see it all on TV.

Universal Sports is broadcasting a nightly two-hour show
dedicated to daily competition at the 2010 Paralympic Winter Games
beginning at 6 p.m. ET, with a re-air at 11 p.m. ET. The coverage
will continue through Tuesday, March 23.

Additionally, UniversalSports.com will offer on-demand re-airs
of the coverage, plus full-length event “rewinds.”

NBC Sports will present a two-hour highlights recap of the Games
on Saturday, April 10, from 3-5 p.m. ET.

also find sports schedules, athlete profiles and the latest daily
news. The official site of the U.S. Paralympic Team, www.usparalympics.org, is also featuring daily video

So far for the U.S., two-time Paralympic medalist Stephani
Victor added a silver medal in Monday’s slalom races in the sitting
division, and Andy Soule’s bronze is the first-ever U.S. medal in
biathlon in either the Olympic or Paralympic Winter Games. The U.S.
Paralympic sled hockey team logged its second consecutive shutout
as it topped the Czech Republic 3-0 on Monday.

The Winter Paralympics Games showcases five sports: alpine
skiing, biathlon, cross country skiing, sled hockey and wheelchair
curling. A total of 600 athletes from more than 40 countries will
compete during the nine-day event.
