PAP Claims Denied in Jurisdiction C

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — In an April 19 notice, Cigna Government
Services said certain claims for PAP accessories/supplies had been
denied incorrectly as over-utilization. The Jurisdiction C DME MAC
said the denials, which affected HCPCS codes A4604, A7027-A7039 and
A7046, were due to “a system issue.” According to the notice, any
affected claims will be automatically adjusted and corrected
remittance advices will be issued.
