Pacific Pulmonary Adds Jobs at Lexington Center

NOVATO, Calif. — Pacific Pulmonary Services announced last
week it has begun hiring for 40 full-time positions at its
Lexington, Ky., customer care center. The new positions will bring
the number of PPS employees in Lexington to 165 since the center
opened in 2008.

“Adding these jobs will allow our Lexington site to expand its
focus on patient care,” Bill Pettus, customer care director, said
in a release. “We are excited by the growth of this center and the
ability to offer more employment opportunities in the community,
especially in the current economic climate.”

Available positions include two levels of customer care
representatives in various shifts. The pay range for the new jobs
will be $11.25 to $12.87 per hour with a competitive benefits
package, according to the announcement.

Purchased by Teijin Ltd., Tokyo, in 2008, Pacific Pulmonary has
more than 1,000 employees and serves more than 75,000 respiratory
therapy patients through 109 local service centers in 20
states.

In addition to its Lexington customer care center, the company
also operates a pharmacy and a sleep therapy care center (Peak
Sleep) in Bakersfield, Calif., and has reimbursement centers in
Bakersfield and Brentwood, Calif.; Tempe, Ariz.; and Omaha, Neb.
Its corporate headquarters and training center are located in
Novato, Calif.
