WATERLOO, Iowa (October 21, 2020)—VGM is now accepting proposals from prospective speakers for its annual Heartland Conference.

With eight education tracks to fill, conference organizers are looking for presenters to offer their expertise on a variety of topics, including business leadership and management, retail, sleep and respiratory, rehab, operations, sales and marketing, home accessibility, technology and regulatory.

“We are so excited to announce our call for speakers for the 2021 Heartland Conference, which celebrates its 20th anniversary,” said Heartland education chair Kayla Mahler. “We’re building an especially robust offering this year, with both in-person and virtual sessions so everyone can experience Heartland’s one-of-a-kind education program.”

“Our speakers are essential to the Heartland Conference,” said Heartland co-chair Jill Blaser. “Not only do they ensure attendees leave each session equipped to grow professionally while earning CEUs, when a speaker shares their best practices, their experience and their know-how, we make everyone in our industry stronger. That’s really what sets Heartland apart.”

The 2021 conference takes place June 14-16 in Waterloo, Iowa, corporate headquarters of VGM Group, Inc. Attendees include HME and home care industry experts as well as health care professionals working in a wide variety of roles and with all levels of experience. Presenters come from all over the country and, like many of the conference attendees, they often return for the unique opportunity to connect with peers and manufacturers and experience hospitality from VGM’s employees.

VGM’s conference not only provides presenters the opportunity to share their expertise but also to attend networking and social events, making it an effective way to increase visibility.

“There’s no shortage of opportunity for presenters at the Heartland Conference,” said Mahler. “It’s the perfect place to bring visibility and quality leads to their business. But, more than that, it’s the community—it’s the sharing of ideas and inspiration that lets you make a real impact on the industry as a whole.”

“Since it’s the 20th anniversary of the Heartland Conference,” said Blaser, “we have more exciting changes to announce in the near future. It’s certainly one year you will not want to miss.”

Speaker proposals for Heartland Conference are due by Dec. 18. Those interested should visit vgmheartland.com/speak to complete the online form.
