TEMPE, Arizona—SYNERGY HomeCare has announced its two newest locations, SYNERGY HomeCare in Plainfield, Illinois, and SYNERGY HomeCare in Conover, North Carolina. The franchise has also announced new ownership of its Connecticut-based SYNERGY HomeCare in East Haven. All three companies will assist nearby residents with non-medical homecare services, including companion, personal and respite care.
SYNERGY HomeCare in Plainfield is headquartered at 15507 Illinois Route 59, Suite 107E in Plainfield, only a short drive away from the heart of Chicago. The company is owned and operated by Illinois natives and husband-and-wife duo, Bailey Wilkinson and Kyana Wilkinson. Kyana is a registered nurse, MBA recipient and former SYNERGY HomeCare caregiver who entered the industry after caring for her father throughout high school while he battled amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
“I carry my father with me in everything that I do,” said Kyana. “Caring for others is part of who I am. Whether it’s in a professional environment or in the comfort of their own homes, servant leadership brings me peace and allows me to show my love and devotion. I’m so excited to be a leader in this space, and I hope to use my talents to be a voice for those who need support, especially clients battling ALS, Parkinson’s or multiple sclerosis.”
The new North Carolina agency is located at 301 10th St NW, Ste. B-102 in Conover. SYNERGY HomeCare in Conover is led by the married duo of Angela Shook and Chad Shook, who have spent their entire lives living and working in the area they now serve. Angela said she was introduced to homecare from the years she spent caring for her grandmother, and Chad, a technology and communications expert, said he was excited to join his wife in providing their hometown with critical, life-improving services.
“Walking alongside my loved ones while they aged gave me a true understanding of how important compassionate, dependable care truly is,” said Angela. “I’ve seen the relief that comes when someone trustworthy shows up, the dignity that’s preserved when care is delivered with respect and the peace of mind that families feel when their loved one is safe and supported at home. Those experiences stayed with me and helped me realize that caregiving is my calling.”
SYNERGY HomeCare in East Haven is a former recipient of the brand’s “Caregiver of the Year” award, presented to the most outstanding individual caregiver throughout the brand’s network. Now, the company, located at 152 Saltonstall Parkway, Unit B in East Haven, will continue to provide that same level of award-winning care under the leadership of Dieunite, “Dee” Phanord, and Ralph Phanord. Dee is also a former caregiver, and she and her husband were eventually motivated to join the homecare industry full-time after providing care for their own family members.
