NORWOOD, Massachusetts—Reliable Respiratory, a provider of home respiratory and durable medical equipment, throughout the United States, has appointed Samuel Falkson, MD, as its medical director. Falkson joins the family-owned company after completing his anesthesiology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School.

It has been a part of my family's story,” said Falkson. “I'm honored to take on this role and look forward to helping the company continue its tradition of compassionate, high-quality care while supporting innovation and clinical excellence for the patients and communities we serve.”
Falkson earned his Bachelor of Arts from Brown University before receiving his Doctor of Medicine from Stanford University School of Medicine, where he completed a scholarly concentration in bioengineering and quality improvement. During his residency at Massachusetts General Hospital, he led and contributed to numerous initiatives focused on improving patient safety, operational efficiency and the quality of perioperative care. He also serves as a lieutenant in the United States Navy Reserve Medical Corps.
Although Falkson has been affiliated with Reliable Respiratory as a clinical consultant for several years, his new role as medical director marks an opportunity to further support the company's mission of delivering respiratory care while working alongside his family.
As medical director, Falkson will provide physician leadership in the development and review of clinical policies and procedures, oversee staff education and training initiatives and help advance the company's commitment to evidence-based care through the development of clinical reports and peer-reviewed publications. While he will not be providing direct patient care, his focus will be on strengthening clinical quality, promoting best practices and supporting Reliable Respiratory's continued growth with dedication to outstanding patient outcomes.
